CMED 2009 - Building Business with Branding

Naimah Allen-Ratliff

Lori Wurth

Overview:

Fact: Impactful marketing relies on effective branding. Everyone knows that branding plays a powerful role in business marketing. The training and executive education industry is no different. To promote our organizations and even expand our service lines, a sound branding platform is essential. While we are aware that effective branding supports our marketing efforts and contributes to the bottom line, many of us are not using the power of branding to our advantage. This session seeks to help training organizations overcome this challenge by investigating brand fundamentals and exploring strategies that reinforce brand intentions.

Presentation Highlights

  • Discuss the marketing strategies that are in use within your organization and new ideas that can be implemented based on industry best practices.
  • Explore a case study on how an Executive & Professional Development organization revamped its brand to drive business in customized programs.
  • Create and exchange strategies that will produce a brand development plan for your organization.

Attendees will begin the work of improving the brand effectiveness of their organization by working through a condensed marketing plan. This plan will create action items that can be quickly implemented to initiate the brand strategy process for your home organization.
