EPD Presents at The 6th Annual Michigan Coaches Conference
The Professional Coaches Association of Michigan (PCAM) held its 2009 Annual Michigan Coaches Conference in East Lansing, MI. The conference is Michigan's premier coaching event that offered not only intellectual, skill-building content, but a holistic, experiential program that was filled with learning and community.

Overview:
Whether your client is seeking to solve a problem or capitalize on an opportunity, the basic and time-tested principles of problem solving can help them negotiate the journey. The fundamental stages of problem solving, including issue identification, root-cause analysis and solution implementation will be discussed. Business tools related to each stage such as the Force Field Analysis, 5 Ws and How Worksheet, Five Whys and Is/Is Not Matrix are just a few of the tools that will be practiced within the context and nature of the coaching engagement. Experiential, engaging and deeply relevant to today's economic climate, this session is for any coaching looking to expand their coaching toolbox.
Bios:
Terry Margolis, Director of Educational Outreach and Executive and Professional Development at Wayne State University, has over 20 years of experience in organizational development and over 10 years experience as a management and executive coach. Ms. Margolis oversees the development, design, marketing, implementation and evaluation of customized leadership development programs, executive education and executive coaching for corporate clients as well as programming for WSU's five extension centers located around the metropolitan Detroit area. Ms. Margolis received her M.B.A. with high distinction from the University of Michigan and her B.S. in organizational psychology from Wayne State University.
Audra Taylor, Project Manager for Executive and Professional Development at Wayne State University, has over 15 years of experience in the publishing, energy, government, healthcare, automotive and professional services sectors. Ms. Taylor's diverse qualifications encompass leadership, project management, sales and marketing, strategic planning, continuous improvement and organizational development. Ms. Taylor has over 10 years experience as a management and executive coach. Ms. Taylor received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Logistics from Wayne State University and her M.B.A. from the University of Colorado.
